Producer/DJ Mark Ronson and singer Katy B held a secrete gig to launch Coca Cola’s official Olympic song on Friday 11 May, 2012.
The launch event for Move to the Beat featured a performance from Ronson and Katy B, who created the song to accompany Coca-Cola’s adverts and events around the upcoming Olympics.
To create the song, Coca-Cola and Ronson traveled the world to meet five young Olympic hopefuls, recording sounds of them training to use in the song. Noises included an archery arrow flying through the air, a hurdler’s footsteps and the heartbeat of a sprinter.
