SJM Concerts presents WORLD PARTY

Under the Bridge is delighted to announce World Party to perform two intimate nights in April on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th (click for tickets).

World Party came into being in 1986 as the solo project of former Waterboys keyboard player Karl Wallinger, carrying the torch for intelligent pop and outstanding live musicianship. The group has amassed five critically acclaimed albums so far, including the Grammy nominated Goodbye Jumbo, (Wallinger’s take on Carl Jung) which won the first ever Q Magazine “Album of the Year” award in 1990, and a series of hit singles, most notably “She’s the One”, written after the death of Wallinger’s mother, and subsequently recorded by Robbie Williams, earning Williams a No.1 and Brit Award.

After a triumphant return to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in 2012, Wallinger is all set to do it again but this time at smaller selected venues around the UK, including two nights here Under the Bridge.
