Zombies postponement announcement!

New London Date Friday 14 April 2023

We regret to announce that The Zombies’ upcoming February/March 2022 tour of the UK will be postponed. One of the band members requires an urgent (but non-life-threatening) medical procedure, and a full 6 weeks of recovery time before he can perform. We truly appreciate the patience and understanding of our fans, many of whom have held on to their tickets, despite this tour already being postponed twice due to COVID.

New dates will be announced for April/May 2023. Tickets will remain valid for the new dates, but refunds can also be requested at the point-of-purchase. The Zombies were truly excited to finally perform again at home in the UK, and this postponement is a huge, if unavoidable, disappointment. We encourage you to hold on to your tickets if you can and continue to support your local venues and live music!

*UK/Scandinavian Tour Update*

The Zombies are longing to return to the stage and we are actively making (and re-making) tour plans for 2021-2022. As the battle against the Pandemic continues it’s clear we must postpone our shows in the early part of the year.

The band’s February-March 2021 tour of the UK has been postponed to February-March 2022 (new dates listed below). We’re also in the process of rescheduling the April 2021 tour of Scandinavia to October 2021 (new dates to be announced soon).

Unless otherwise noted below all existing tickets will be honoured for the rescheduled dates. We ask your patience in contacting venues regarding the new dates and/or refund requests as many of them are working with reduced staff during lockdown.

We also ask that if you can afford to do so, please consider retaining your ticket and not claiming a refund. Our concert venues and cultural facilities are facing exceptional financial difficulties throughout the Pandemic and by holding on to your ticket you will help them maintain their operations/staff.

We can’t wait until we can see you all again on the road!

Thank you,
Team Zombies

Rogers & Butler

Rogers & Butler (Edward Rogers, Steve Butler) have released an EP (Diana Dors) and full-length album (Poets & Sinners) which displayed their stunning melodic songwriting talents and received rave reviews.

Sitting firmly in a pop tradition that marries Mick Ronson to Marmalade on some mythical Carnaby Street USA, it’s a seamless pairing and meshing of styles. Brilliant. (4 stars). Shindig! Magazine

Rogers & Butler‘s new album Poets & Sinners continues their signature melodic rock aided by some of New York City’s best known musicians. There are echoes of Ian Hunter on “Roll The Stone,” George Harrison on “Writing To The Moon” and Tom Petty on “Jump Like Alice” but the LP has a distinctive sound.

The Strange Brew

Since the two releases, Rogers & Butler played several live shows is the UK, as well as the States where they opened for The Zombies on several dates in 2019. They are currently recording their next album for release in early 2022. For this tour, Rogers & Butler are joined by their producer, Don Piper, on backing vocals and guitar.

Following a year of overseas touring, Iconic “British Invasion” Pop Legends The Zombies are returning home to the U.K. to celebrate their long-awaited Induction into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. After receiving their 4th nomination in 5 years, the support for The Zombies among the public and their peers was undeniable – the band placed 4th in the public online poll with over 330,000 votes, and joined Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, and Roxy Music as the 2019 Class of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Fittingly, the Induction Ceremony took place on March 29, 2019 – exactly 50 years to-the-day after The Zombies’ classic “Time of the Season” first hit #1 on the charts.

Never content to only look back, and despite a busy touring schedule, The Zombies are also in the studio recording the follow-up to their 2015 Billboard-charting album, Still Got That Hunger, and will be debuting brand-new songs on this tour. Led by founding members, vocalist Colin Blunstone and keyboardist Rod Argent, The Zombies’ 21st-Century line-up features Steve Rodford on drums, guitarist Tom Toomey, and the newest member, Søren Koch, on bass.

The band’s live performances, described by Rolling Stone as “absolutely triumphant”, take fans on a journey through time, from their early hits…their 1968 masterpiece Odessey & Oracle…post-Zombies solo favorites…right to today with songs from their forthcoming new album.

The second U.K. band following the Beatles to score a #1 hit in America during the 1964 “British Invasion”, The Zombies infiltrated the airwaves with their hit singles “She’s Not There” and “Tell Her No.” Ironically, the group broke-up just prior to achieving their greatest success – the worldwide chart-topping single “Time of the Season,” from their swan-song album Odessey & Oracle, ranked #100 in Rolling Stone’s ‘500 Greatest Albums of All Time.’ To this day, generations of new bands have cited The Zombies’ work as pop touchstones, and the band continues to be embraced by new generations of fans.

Following the break-up of the original band, lead vocalist Colin Blunstone went on to develop an acclaimed solo career (with hits including “Say You Don’t Mind,” “What Becomes of the Brokenhearted”, and “Old & Wise” with Alan Parsons Project) and keyboardist/songwriter Rod Argent rocked ‘70’s arenas with his eponymous band ARGENT (“Hold Your Head Up,” “God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll To You”), but the legend of The Zombies continued to take on a life of its own. By the start of the new Millennium, Blunstone and Argent were inspired to resurrect The Zombies.

The explosive release of Still Got That Hunger, which included appearances at Glastonbury Festival and Later…With Jools Holland…and of course, the band’s 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction…have all marked major triumphs in their 5-decade career, but you can be sure they will not rest on their laurels. The Zombies story continues on….!

Great iconic band, from my childhood in the 60’s and I will be so thrilled to be at their gig at Under The Bridge! Colin still has the voice of an Angel and I can#t wait to hear, see and remember misty eyed “Time of the Season” which played at my very first girl boy dance in grade school in the States! lol Love them and long may they reign!!
