UTB In Lockdown

As we work towards hosting events once more, the UTB team have been curating and live streaming a range of fresh content in lockdown. This has included ‘Raving & Misbehaving’ – family friendly raves in partnership with Sharky & George, live sets from UK country music artists for the UTB-owned country brand Nash Nights UK, and ‘From BIMM to the Bridge’ – live sessions in collaboration with local music school BIMM London featuring students.

The varied content has been very well received by the UTB database and has helped keep the live music conversation alive during lockdown. UTB has also been revisiting some of the most memorable gigs from over the years since opening almost 10 years ago, streaming sets from their concert archives. Artists featured include Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Joss Stone and Keane. The next archive stream planned to be featured comes from Sonic Youth founder Thurston Moore’s solo show filmed on Friday 5th April 2019. The set was a warm up for Krautrock legend Michael Rother’s headline show at Under The Bridge, where Moore performed an epic 40 minute improv solo set. Stream date TBC!

The first socially distanced stream live from Under The Bridge will be from previous UTB headliners, acid jazz band The Brand New Heavies, on Friday 3rd July. Presented by AGMP and hosted by the legendary MC Normski, tickets are available from Dice and include the option to donate to Stand Up To Racism.
